Founded in 2020, Asians in Animation (AIA) is a community-powered global 501(c)3 non-profit organization championing Asian storytelling in animation.

​Headquartered in Los Angeles, California with a network of more than 6,000 members worldwide committed to increasing Asian representation on the animated screen, ​Asians in Animation is a professional association dedicated to the preservation and celebr-Asian of Asian animated storytelling.

Through specialized talent development programs and providing a platform for Asian animation communities all across the globe to shine, our mission at AIA is to empower Asian creatives to be the ones who tell their communities' stories on the animated screen.

Our non-profit's work aims to protect the longevity of global Asian animation talent's careers and provide a safe future for Asian animated storytelling.

AIA is committed to the elevation and the celebration of Asian animated stories from the entire continent of Asia, but most importantly, we champion the voices of the worldwide Asian animation community.
