Katie is Chief Strategy Officer at Asians in Animation. She is currently in charge of developing the Animation Industry Immersive Lab's four Production Programs - 2D Production, CG Production, Series Pre-Production, and Feature Pre-Production. Katie previously served as External Relations Director, where she helped build partnerships with animation studios, organizations, and professionals to bring unique opportunities to members.

Outside of Asians in Animation, Katie is an aspiring Producer and worked at Nickelodeon as a Production Assistant on Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Rock Paper Scissors. Katie enjoys collaborating with people who are creative, talented, and just as passionate about animation as she is. Her goal is to shine a spotlight on diverse representation, both on screen and behind the screen within the animation industry.

Fun Fact: Katie’s favorite Studio Ghibli film is Kiki’s Delivery Service because it talks about burnout and finding inspiration again for the things you’re passionate about. (Something anyone can relate to!)
