What I do: Writing, Community Building, Content Development
What I am: Your local queer, nonbinary Korean creative and plant parent in training

Kingsley is a current student at the University of Pennsylvania studying Political Science and Fine Arts. While they have always loved animation, their interest in working in animation was reignited after rewatching Avatar: The Last Airbender during the pandemic.

Since then, Kingsley has joined Asians in Animation as a Community Director and works at Mandeville Films as a Feature Development Intern where they screen submitted materials and support their slate of projects.

Kingsley believes animation is a transformative medium for authentic, imaginative storytelling, and is deeply passionate about empowering marginalized and underrepresented communities through animation. With interests in both development and storyboarding, Kingsley is excited to always learn more! Kingsley always loves to meet new people, and welcomes anyone to reach out to them via Instagram!
