Olivia YiSu Stark

愉思

Founder
Pronouns: she/her/hers
What I Do: Writing, Design, and Social Media
What I Am: A multiracial Chinese American girl

Olivia currently works as a Current Series Coordinator at Skydance Animation. She was previously the Design Production Assistant at Bento Box Entertainment on The Great North, an adult animated comedy series about the Alaskan adventures of a single dad and his weird but lovable family. Before landing at Bento, she interned with Illumination, Skydance Animation, and Over the Moon producer, Janet Yang. She is passionate about all forms and genres of animation and wants to help tell stories that resonate with people by making them feel represented and inspired.

As a recent graduate of UCLA with a degree in Asian American Studies, a future goal of Olivia’s is to use animation to shed light on the overlooked and forgotten histories of marginalized peoples in the US. She is currently an AWC Fellow at Visual Communications working on a short film project for the 2022 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.

Fun fact about her: She once spent a summer on the island of Guam where she learned about indigenous sovereignty from amazing community leaders, swam in the ocean every single day, and ate the best BBQ of her life.
