Karina Zhou​

​TITLE

Karina (she/her) is a Canadian animator, author, and illustrator fascinated by the intersection of storytelling and digital technology. As a volunteer Partnership Associate with Asians in Animation, she helps foster community growth between AIA and our partners in the industry!  
 Currently, Karina resides in San Francisco, where she’s an incoming senior at California College of the Arts with a BFA in Animation. She’s also a student at Animation Mentor, where she’s learning the ins and outs of character animation
Fun Fact: In her free time, she writes and illustrates children’s books. Check out ‘Kai’s Tea Eggs’! When she’s not at her desk, you can find her outdoors immersed in evergreen trees and sipping on honey chamomile tea.
