​The Asians in Animation Writer’s Group is a small group of dedicated writers looking to reach the next level in their writing. We have a range of levels in our members, from beginners to working professional writers.

  • We meet weekly to discuss writing related topics.
  • We host optional “lounge” sessions for focused work or socializing within the group.
  • We share scripts for feedback.
  • We have presentations and discussions on writing and entertainment topics.
  • We keep each other accountable on our weekly and larger goals

Membership

Step 1: Join the Asians in Animation Discord through our directory!
 
Step 2: For Asians in Animation Members interested in writing, but that don’t have the time to commit to joining the group:
  • We welcome all interested to attend our guest speaker chats as audience members.
  • The Discord community has a #writing channel for writers to chat and connect, swap scripts, and share opportunities.

Step 3: How to Join:
We currently have a limited capacity, and are prioritizing membership from those able to actively participate and attend meetings.
