Beverley is currently the Memberships Director for Asians in Animation. Her love for animation ignited at a young age, finding immense joy in the enchanting world of Disney classics. She enrolled in animation courses offered at her community college, solidifying her passion and decision to follow this career path that deeply resonated with her. She earned an Associate's degree in Animation and Game Design from Berkeley City College, followed by a Bachelor's Degree in Entertainment Business from The Los Angeles Film School.
During her college years, she worked as a Production Coordinator on a short animated film called "Let's Eat," a project she holds close to her heart. It not only marked her entry into the industry but it also allowed her to contribute to a larger mission—amplifying Asian voices and representation in animated stories. Her experience collaborating with immensely talented artists from diverse backgrounds has furthered her ambition to support and uplift underrepresented stories and perspectives in the world of animation.
Beverley has a deep appreciation and love for the expanding landscape in animated storytelling that is tailored to adult audiences. Inspired by groundbreaking western series such as "Castlevania," "Love, Death & Robots," and "The Legend of Vox Machina," she aspires to produce her own series in the future that empowers diverse voices and explores profound themes that resonate with mature viewers on a global scale.
Fun Fact: In her free time, Beverley enjoys making TikTok videos of her shih-tzu, Mika and hopes to grow the page overtime.
