What Should I Expect?
|
When it comes to volunteering, we expect you to grow. If you are looking for an industry training opportunity or an equivalent to an industry internship / entry-level role, we aim to provide a 1:1 experience of the animation industry while you're volunteering with Asians in Animation. At the moment, we have a heavy emphasis on administrative (production management) and artistic volunteer roles.
Our team comes from a variety of backgrounds, even those who are not in the animation industry. We are looking for volunteers who are seeking to dive headfirst into knowing what it's like to work in animation - and don't back down from a challenge. Our goal is to have you reach the next step in your career, so if you're ready, we are too! For regular volunteers, we are looking for a commitment of three months. For leadership positions, we are looking for a commitment of one year.

For Studios
We are happy to be a conduit between the worldwide animation community and your studio. Our Partnerships team is currently working with animation schools and studios to partner on educational content, as well as strategizing to support mid-level and senior-level Asian employees in the workplace.
