Daniel Snaddon is a filmmaker best known for ZOG which won the International Emmy Kids Award for best Animation in 2020, and THE SNAIL AND THE WHALE which recently picked up three BAFTA Young People and Children's awards nominations. Daniel has previously worked as an animation supervisor on the BAFTA-winning adaptation of Roald Dahl's REVOLTING RHYMES. Having grown up in a mixed-race family in South Africa during the end of apartheid, Daniel is thrilled to be adapting THE SMEDS AND THE SMOOS as its themes are very close to his heart.
