About the Speaker

Henry Yu started at Pixar and has worked on some of your favorite shows at Cartoon Network, Disney TV Animation, Nickelodeon Animation and Sony Pictures Animation, where he had his directorial debut with SURF'S UP 2: WAVEMANIA. He later moved to Netflix to write and direct original animated features. Henry is currently faculty at CalArts, where he teaches story structure, story and character development, writing, and storyboarding.
