Hosted by 2D animators Jamie Chua and Alison Loke, come take some time to work on artwork, spruce up that portfolio and get started on your goals in an open, casual setting with other Asians in Animation members!

This session is highly recommended for our European based members who want to pursue 2D animation - but open to all who'd like to come and participate!

Alison Loke is a Malaysian 2D animator based in the UK. She loves bringing her love of music and animated films together in her work! She has worked at various studios such as Tiger Aspect, Blue Zoo and Lupus Films. Alison is currently about to start her master’s in game design and development at the school of National Film and Television School in January next year.

Jamie Chua is a character designer currently based in the UK and a new graduate of Arts University Bournemouth’s MA animation program. She has animation design work experience in television series such as 123 Number Squad and Leo the Wildlife Ranger. Jamie was selected as part of the ScreenSkills Animation Trainee Finder cohort of 2023, and she is currently the UK regional lead for Asians in Animation.
