Our Story

AIA began first and foremost through friendship. Starting out in their first industry roles, friends and founders Brandon, Lexie, Joshua, and Olivia noticed that there was no group or organization dedicated to Asians who work in animation. They instead relied on each other for professional advice, support, and guidance, but thought, "how great would it be to have this friendship and camaraderie with our larger Asian community?" Thus, Asians in Animation was born.
