Stacey, a Filipina animation filmmaker proudly island hopping across the thousands of islands in the Philippines. She chronicles her research on history and fantasy through watercolor journals and storyboards, sometimes sharing her comedic attempts in comic form. Her animation and cinema skills were honed from studying at the University of San Carlos, Women in Animation's Mentorship, and TOP PEG Animation workshops. Additionally, Stacey has previously worked on award-winning VR projects and upcoming fantasy-historical animated films. Embracing Asians in Animation's vision, she brings workshops featuring celebrated Filipino artists, guiding local talents to have fun in the animation process, while connecting global artists with world-class talents from the Philippines. |
