Sophia is from Hawaiʻi and graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa with a BA in Animation. She worked on short films like Pua Warriors, Midnight Showing, and more with her friends, and gained a love for the collaborative work that animation brings. She is working to continue to facilitate culturally specific media that uplifts others and makes a positive impact. She is currently a Producer for the Immersive Lab Workshops. Previously, she worked as an Events Assistant for the External Relations team.

​Fun Fact: Whenever Sophia was sick as a child, she would watch BBC’s the World of Peter Rabbit and Friends. Her favorite episode is still the cat burrito one. Curious? Give episode 3 a watch.
