Ruby Wang

Visual Development Mentor

Ruby Wang is a Los Angeles based visual development artist currently working at Skydance Animation Studios.

Before joining Skydance, Ruby worked at RealFX on Ugly Dolls (2018), Pixar’s Inside Out 2 (2024) and several unannounced short films and commercials. Ruby had also participated in several award-winning projects, including an Oscar Nominated Animated short “OPERA”, directed by Erick Oh, and Tonko House’s “PIG: The Dam Keeper Poem” which was screened at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival.

Ruby loves creative collaboration. She has worked alongside art teams and directors in both independent and bigger commercial projects. She hopes to continue using her talents weaving art with narrative to create believable stories that leave a profound impact on others.
