Qianhe Sun

Storyboard Artist

Qianhe Sun is a freelance storyboard artist based in the Bay Area. Born and raised in Yunnan, China, a province where "the four seasons are like spring," she brings a unique cultural perspective to her work. As a martial arts enthusiast, DND player, and video game lover, she incorporates her interests into her creative projects. She has a keen interest in drawing Action/Comedy boards, and her work is full of dynamic movements, intense scenes, and humorous narratives.

During her years at the Academy of Art University, she acquired a solid knowledge of cinematic storytelling and honed her drawing skills. Her work showcases the ability to translate written scripts into vivid story sequences. Notably, her action-comedy animatic, 'Wasteland Chase,' was awarded the AAU Spring Show 1st Place Storyboard Award in 2023. As a well-trained artist, she regularly uses software programs such as Photoshop, Storyboard Pro, Procreate, and After
Effects.

Thanks to AIA Immersive Lab, Qianhe had the opportunity to further develop her skills, and she is looking forward to collaborating with new talented artists.
