Nina ChungVisual Development Artist
Hi! My name is Nina Chung, a recent illustration graduate from Parsons School of Design born and raised in Northern California. Starting with the interest in games, I went into college with the interest in creating illustrative work in games but decided to pivot my career mid-way through.
While in college, I began my animation career working for youtubers like Lilypichu and Derivakat and creating animated music videos for them. In senior year, I was a Titmouse intern, where I grew my skills in background paint and character design. I also released my thesis film, “Lights Out”, a horror animated short that I directed and designed myself! At the core of it, I love to illustrate and show human experiences through my work. With both influence from my Korean-American heritage, as well as my day-to-day lifestyle living in both New York and California, I use my own personal experiences and bring them to life within characters and storytelling. I also just love drawing women and mecha. I’m a simple woman.
