What I Do: Handle all communication coming into (and out of!) of Asians in Animation
What I Am:  A 2nd generation mixed Chinese Filipino American girl from SoCal
Michelle graduated from California State University Fullerton with a degree in Animation and Entertainment Art in 2021, and is currently a Production Assistant at Nickelodeon Animation. She loves retro art, the 60s/70s, rockstars, Star Trek, and all things sci-fi.

Just like the rest of the team, she loves animation, and has since childhood! Her favorite cartoons were My Life as a Teenage Robot, Whatever Happened to Robot Jones, and Invader Zim. Animation is a limitless medium, for both art and storytelling – her dream would be to help other Asian artists succeed in telling authentic, meaningful stories about our lives, our families, and our identities, but also seeing more Asian characters in all different kinds of genres and stories, especially more Asian-inspired sci-fi!

Fun Fact: Michelle can look at a photo of David Bowie and tell what year it was taken just by his haircut.
