Lindsey Tamayo2D Production Program Coordinator
Pronouns: She/Her What I do: Developing the 2D Production Program Lindsey Tamayo is a Background Designer specializing in 2D Animation. She graduated from California State University, Long Beach. With a passion for animation and design, Lindsey credits her career and personal growth to the guidance of mentors and mentorship programs. She has strong passions for storytelling, design, and teamwork. Currently, Lindsey is working on several indie projects and also teaches art classes to high school students. One of her main goals is to expand her knowledge of the animation industry beyond the background department. As a child, Lindsey was introduced to anime at an early age, with "Howl’s Moving Castle" being her first experience. The background art captivated her and sparked a deep interest in backgrounds and the use of colors that she still appreciates today. Outside of animation, Lindsey enjoys playing tennis with friends, spending time with her cat, Loki, and sketching at cafes. She has a special love for themed cafes, which acts as her inspiration.
