Kaitlin Yu is a Chinese American Freelance 3D Animator based in NYC. They have animated at studios like Framestore, Hornet, and HOPR, for clients like Google, Geico, Kroger, McDonald's, and Cricket. Having graduated from the School of Visual Arts — there, they co-founded the Asian American Student Union and Multicultural Student Union, along with creating an award-winning 3D film. Before becoming a Regional Lead, Kaitlin was an Events Assistant who coordinated panels with esteemed professionals, proposed a clarified organizational pipeline, organized a studio tour at Titmouse NY and local meetups, and gave a presentation about Job Hunting on the East Coast. Their goal is to develop a welcoming and lively in-person space for the NYC community.
