Sound Mixer

Joshua is Chinese-Canadian audio engineer and sound designer based in Los Angeles. Raised in Vancouver, he started playing the piano at a young age where found his love for music. After considering pursuing a career as a pianist and producer, he discovered his passion in audio post-production through school. Whether it’s recording, mixing, or sound design, he started looking for opportunities to get involved with as many projects as he could.

During his time at Berklee College of Music, he had the opportunity to work on various projects ranging from recording large bands and mixing EPs to sound design for film and video games. Working with creatives by developing their artistic vision drives him to improve his craft. He misses the friends he made in Boston, but is excited to meet new people in Los Angeles!

While he loves talking about audio equipment, software, and other audio related topics, he jokes that his parents don’t understand what he does. He equates himself to a video game support character that helps others take the spotlight. He encourages everyone to get a reasonable amount of sleep and is excited to meet everyone!
