Hannah Jin Young KimVisual Development Artist
Hi, I am Hannah Jin Young Kim, specializing in visual development and background art. I am a second generation Korean-American who grew up in various places, including Los Angeles, Hawaii, South Korea, Rhode Island, and now in Atlanta, Georgia.
I studied Illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). During my time at school, I started creating simple games with my classmates, and I also worked on indie mobile games. Additionally, I did research design work for Hyundai to explore different fields of creative opportunities. However, two years ago, I decided to pursue a career in the animation industry and started building a portfolio from scratch. My first major break into the animation industry was working on Hit Monkey Season 2 as a background layout artist (it will be streaming on Hulu soon!).
