Genna Davis is a recent graduate from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in animation and a minor in game and application development. In college, Genna first began studying both 2D and 3D animation, but it wasn’t until the end of her sophomore year that she realized her love of the natural world and decided to focus her career towards building immersive environments for animation and games. Genna’s interest in natural history would become a clear inspiration in her work, and in every piece she aims to convey the same feeling of awe that she feels when out in nature. Previously, she has collaborated on a variety of animated short films, such as The Fox’s Wedding, with her peers in college as a background artist, animator, and character designer. Genna is continuing to hone her skills in 2D and 3D mediums, and she now aspires to work in the animation or video game industry as a visual development artist or environment artist. Regardless of where her career leads her, she is always excited for new opportunities to share her artistic voice.
