Erli LingStoryboard Artist
Howdy, I'm Erli Ling, a recent MFA graduate in Visualization from Texas A&M University, with a graduate certificate in Film and Media Studies. Currently, I serve as an art and programming teacher for TAMU Chinese School. With over 4 years of experience storyboarding for the Texas Department of Transportation and Noirtainment Production Studio, I bring a wealth of expertise to my craft.
My animated stories are inspired by everyday life. I find inspiration in ordinary elements and let my imagination wander, creating whimsical worlds with intriguing characters. Two of my animatics, "The Moment" and "World Rhapsody," have received acclaim, winning a total of 6 Best Animation Short Awards and being selected for over 40 film festivals worldwide. My specialization lies in Comedy, Drama, and Fantasy. Outside of my creative pursuits, I find enjoyment in observing migratory birds, fossil hunting, model trains, travel, K-pop, and immersing myself in the enchanting worlds of Miyazaki's films.
