Hey there, my name is Dasom Park! I’m a storyboard artist working in animation, and I love quirky cinema with lots of heart.

I’m a Korean-American who grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, and I've been doodling manga on the back of math tests since middle school. I studied fine arts in highschool at first, but my love of storytelling got me to transition into animation. I graduated from Ringling College of Art & Design after creating my student film 'Tubeman Mike' with my friends.

I then interned at Bluesky Studios as a storyboard artist and worked on Oscar-nominated film 'Nimona'. Since then, I've boarded on TV animation for 'Mechwest', preschool work, documentary youtube channels and illustrated fan zines! Now my focus is to develop my personal voice in writing, and to collaborate with other like-minded weirdos to make films. I'd love to one day make a film featuring a REALLY unconventional perspective; that'd make me very happy.

My hobbies include playing niche mystery games, running to metal/punk rock, and cooking! And spoiling my cat to obscene levels. Some of my favorite films include Nacho Libre, Amadeus, and Mary Poppins(the original ofc).
