As the only child of refugee parents, Brian was encouraged to pursue a career in a prestigious industry, but always held a strong appreciation for the arts. After graduating college and following the path of an engineer, he found it increasingly isolating and noticed the lack of opportunity to work on products with meaningful, widespread impact. Deciding to return to school, he stumbled on a course taught by Disney Imagineers and discovered the possibilities of a career in entertainment. He subsequently found himself in the inaugural class of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Gold internship program, welcoming him into a community of likeminded storytellers. Initially beginning his journey in themed entertainment, Brian guided production for a variety of immersive experiences, including media for attractions at Super Nintendo World, which introduced him to collaborating with digital artists and animators. He has since fully immersed himself in VFX and animation, facilitating the production of visualization for feature and series projects, including Black Adam (2022), The Flash (2023), and Blue Beetle (2023), among other as yet unreleased titles. He is committed to championing authentic, inclusive, and immersive storytelling by empowering artists and creators to explore and push the boundaries of animation to achieve truth.
