Anna is a strategic communications leader with over nine years of experience crafting narratives that resonate. As the Chief Communications Officer for Asians in Animation, she leverages her deep nonprofit expertise to amplify the organization’s voice and foster meaningful engagement within the global creative community.
Born and raised in the Philippines, Anna’s background in Communications and Creative Writing from Ateneo de Manila University fuels her ability to connect across cultures. She brings a high-energy, collaborative spirit to every project, from video editing and visual branding to social media strategy. While she has spent nearly a decade in communications, Anna is currently channeling that expertise toward breaking into the animation industry, eager to contribute to projects that push creative boundaries.
Beyond her work at AIA, Anna works as the Marketing Manager for Junior Achievement of Northern California. She also served  as the Editor and Producer for Junior Achievement of Northern California’s podcast, Oh, The Places You’ll Work!, where she turned career journeys into inspiring digital content.
When she isn’t building brands or stories, Anna is embracing her favorite new role: being a mom. She and her husband love doting on their baby daughter and finding inspiration in their new adventures together. Whether they are tackling escape rooms, diving into new games, or simply discovering the best local eats and boba, she finds joy in every shared adventure.

FUN FACT

When Animal Crossing: New Horizons took over the world, Anna built her own little slice of the Philippines called Hilaga! Inspired by her memories back home and iconic Filipino landmarks, her island gained recognition and helped share Filipino culture with the world, fueling her passion for storytelling.
