Angelina RetodoAnimator
I am Angelina Retodo, a Filipino/Thai American born and raised in the Bay Area of California. I am a School of Visual Arts student specializing in story, 2D animation, and production. I have experience on many 2D animated projects, including directorial experience on the films “Lunchbox” (2024) and “The Scramble” (2023), and experience as a production coordinator on “Miss Illusion” (2024). I also have studio experience as an animation intern at Augenblick Studios where I worked on the PBS show “City Island”.
Going into my senior year at SVA, I plan to improve my storyboard portfolio and apply to storyboarding opportunities for TV and feature animation at a professional studio. Outside of artistic roles, I am always looking for production opportunities since I enjoyed being a production coordinator on “Miss Illusion” and want to take on similar opportunities in my career. I also love being involved in indie animation opportunities to improve my 2D animation skills and make friends with other artists in the industry!
