Amanda PungAnimator
Amanda grew up always interested in the arts. She spent her childhood years making doodles of cartoon and anime characters. In her high school years, when the opportunity arose for students to take animation classes, she was ready to pounce at it. However, at that time, only seniors could participate. By the time she became a senior herself, the class was cut from the curriculum! Fortunately, the teacher who taught the animation class still worked there. Determined to learn animation, she asked to be mentored one on one during both their off periods.
Since then she studied 2D animation at her local community college and graduated with an associate of applied science in 2D animation. She went on to make a Youtube channel showcasing her animations, and freelance for clients such as Tolok Productions and LankyBox. Her Youtube and Instagram page has accumulated over 1000 followers/subs and is still growing. By being part of this project, she hopes to connect to other artists and animators as she continues to build her animation portfolio. She is excited to be part of the Asians in Animation Immersive Lab team! Work 1 Work 2 |
